The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of various restaurants, the beach, the art deco district, and the convention center. The rooms offer a mix of positives with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom but are let down by a damp and slightly smelly environment. The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, although not initially meeting expectations, turned out to be really nice, especially with the swift change offered due to a strange noise from the pipes. The customer service was outstanding, providing the best available room for the same price originally booked. However, there were issues with the service being charming and professional yet skeptical about payments and promises made. The location was very central to major attractions, although there were some limitations in operating hours. The dining experience was reasonable but not exceptional. Overall, a mixed but somewhat satisfying stay.

My stay at the hotel was such a mixed experience. The rooms were cozy and welcoming, but unfortunately, very damp and a bit smelly. Staying at the Cadet Hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms felt cozy and perfect, but a bit small for two people. The hotel to the Bahamas is charming and felt a bit dated, yet quite comfortable. The service brought one up and 're-set' the a/c, was happy, very helpful, amazing, and super helpful. The location is close to everything, yet tucked away, avoiding noise issues. The dining experience is in a perfect location but with early closure at 7.30am. The facilities are lovely for a boutique stay.
